As an International Emmy nominee and multi-award-winning video journalist and filmmaker, I pioneer innovative and compelling storytelling in both cinematic video journalism and documentaries. I am deeply committed to illuminating underreported stories and voices.
My work with TVE, TV3, The Associated Press Television News, and Channel 4 News UK has taken me around the world, from war zones and natural disaster sites to scenes of social unrest, as well as inspirational and moving character-driven stories.

As an independent freelance video journalist and filmmaker, I have contributed to The Washington Post, The Intercept, South China Morning Post, and more.
My latest work in long-form documentary covered the Hong Kong protest in 2019 as a DOP, producer, main cinematographer, and co-editor of “Cockroach,” a documentary directed by the Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. I am also the director and producer of documentaries, including the award-winning “Pani: Women, Drugs, and Kathmandu.”
Additionally, I have collaborated with the Global Wildlife Program as a producer and filmmaker, creating stories about wildlife conservation and sustainable development by combating illicit wildlife trafficking and human-wildlife conflict.
